Statue of Liberty - 29. June

Die Freiheitsstatue, wer kennt sie nicht ?
Jeder kennt sie von Bildern oder aus Filmen. Was man aber nicht erwartet...
Sie ist sehr klein!
Ich war echt enttäuscht. Aber sie ist wirklich nicht so groß, wie man denkt. Wenn man im Flugzeug sitzt muss man sie echt suchen, weil man sie nicht so einfach erkennt. Aber sie ist trotzdem sehr schön.
Am 29. Juni war ich da und bin auf Liberty Island rumgelaufen. Es war aber wirklich schön.
Man nimmt eine Fähre und fährt zu erst zu Liberty Island und dann der nächste Stopp ist Ellis Island. Auf Ellis Island wurden alle Immigranten angemeldet und aufgeschrieben. Es ist wirklich interessant wie viele Leute auf Ellis Island angekommen und wie viele Schicksale auf dieser Insel entschieden worden sind.
Defintiv einen Besuch wert, wenn man mal nach New York City kommt.

The Statue of Liberty, who doesn't know her ?
All of you know her, from either pictures or movies. But what you don't expect is....
That she's pretty small. Well smaller than I thought.
She always looked seemed very big to me, but truth is, she is not. If you want to spot her out of a plane, you really have to take a clos look or you miss her.
On June 29th I went to liberty Island first and then to Ellis Island.
And here are the pictures.
But she is definitely worth a visit, if you ever come to the Big Apple.
