Montauk - 17. May
Hallöle,
diesen Post hatte ich schon fast vergessen. Am 17. Mai war ich in Montauk, an der Spitze von Long Island.
Für mich sah es eigentlich nur aus wie ein riesiger Strand. Aber es war wirklich schön. Wir sind zum Leuchtturm gegangen und konnten bis oben in die Spitze und Fotos machen. Es war echt eine wunderschöne Aussicht.
Nachdem man im Lechtturm war, konnte man sich noch das kleine Museum angucken, welches direkt daneben war. Davon habe ich leide keine Bilder, weil man keine machen durfte. Aber es war interessant zu sehen, wie viele Leuchttürme es auf Long Island gibt und was sie für eine Geschichte haben.

I nearly forgot to post this. On May 17th I was in Montauk, at the peak of Long Island. It was beautiful and basically one big beach.
We went to the Lighthouse, where you could go all the way to the top and have a beautiful view of the sea and the nature.
Afterwards, you can go on the little museum, which is right next to the Lighthouse and learn a little over the history of it an over other Lighthouses on Long Island. Unfortunately, I don't habe pictures of it, because it was forbidden to take some.
But here are the pictures, I took. So..
