Ich bin Lisa Zemke, bin 18 Jahre alt und komme aus Deutschland.
Ich werde ab 2015 als Au Pair in die USA gehen. Bis jetzt habe ich noch keine Familie, da ich  auch noch nicht in meinem Au Pair Room freigeschaltet bin. Aber ich habe schon meine Bewerbung komplett fertig, meine Unterlagen abgeschickt und war auch schon beim Interview.
Mit diesem Blog möchte ich euch meine Erlebnisse mitteilen und euch an meinem Au Pair leben Teil haben lassen.
Ihr könnt mir natürlich auch Fragen stellen. Einfach meine Posts kommentieren oder eine E-Mail an: lisa.zemke@outlook.de schicken.

In 2015 I'm going to be an Au Pair in the USA. I don't have a family, yet, and my Au Pair Room isn't unlocked. But I already finished my application, send in my documents and had my interview.
With this blog I want you to be a part of my Au Pair life. I'm going to write about my experiences during my year and keep you updated.

Application send to the US =)

Hey Guys :) It's me again. Today I got the mail that my application is send to the US and that I have to complete a personality test. It was super easy and there really are now wring answers. They wanted to know more about your character. For example, do you get angry easily, do you think of yourself as a leader etc. Totally easy and does not take longer than 15 minutes. Don't be nervous about it, it's really easy and nothing to serious. If you don't know a answer, be spontaneous and choose the one that comes to your mind first. That'll be the right answer. Now I have to wait, until AuPairCare reviewed my whole application. But in the mail it says, that it'll take 2 weeks and my Au Pair room will be activated and host families can take a look at it. I'll post again, when my account is unlocked. Bye  Hallöle :) Kurzer Zwischenstand mal wieder. Habe heute die E-Mail bekommen, dass meine Bewerbung in die USA zu AuPairCare geschickt worden ist...

Waiting...

Hey, it's me again. Just a little Update, that I'm currently waiting for a mail from Ayusa-Intrax. They still have to send my application to the US to AuPairCare to let them have a look at it again. Waiting, waiting, waiting .... Gonna keep you all updated :)

New York City

Hallo meine Lieben :) Gestern bin ich mit 3 anderen Au Pairs aus meiner Gegend nach New York City gefahren. Es ging morgens los. Wir haben den Zug um 10.33 Uhr genommen und die fahrt dauerte ca. 1 Stunde. Zuerst sind wir zur Brooklyn Bridge gefahren und sind einmal komplett darüber gegangen. Man hat einen wundervollen Blick auf den East River, auf Liberty Island und auf Manhattan. Bilder folgen später in einer Picture Time. Dann sind wir zu Fuß zur High Line gegangen. Kleine Info zur High Line: Die High Line ist eine 2,33 km lange, nicht mehr als solche genutzte Hochbahntrasse im Westen von Manhattan, die von 2006 bis 2014 zu einer Parkanlage, dem High Line Park, umgebaut wurde. Eine super schöne Strecke, die man wirklich genießen kann. Es war leider noch alles vom Winter sehr zerdückt und es hat noch nichts geblüht, aber es war trotzdem eine schöne Park Anlage. Ich werde im Sommer nochmal dort hingehen, wenn alles blüht. Sieht dann bestimmt fantastisch aus. Kurz etwa...
